RADIANT Technology today introduced its new miniature, handheld GPS. The AirLite GPS can fit in the palm of your hand, or perfectly on any keychain, but has big capabilities.
The GPS can be the perfect addition to any pilot’s usual set of gadgets without adding extra weight or bulky objects into the cockpit. Find geographic coordinates through the GPS as well as an accurate travel time. GPS lock time is in as little as two seconds. This small gadget has a rechargeable USB battery and a charging cable is included. Enjoy up to 10 hours of operational time on one single charge.
The device has a crystal clear LCD screen that is backlit for better viewing during all hours of the day. Travel to your next destination with the directions provided based on your user-set point of interest. The AirLite GPS can track distance, mileage, speed, altitude and works as an accurate compass.
There are six screens and modes of options available, a home screen with direction and info, speed and altitude, settings, latitude and longitude, distance and elapsed and clock. Each screen will display the signal and battery life. The home screen will also show the date and time, POI, POI number, direction on the compass and distance. The new GPS can work even when the cell network is down.
